We nourish our herb garden with collected rain water and organic feed, which consist of organic compost (banana peels, egg shells, avocado shells, clippings from garden pruning, etc). We also periodically condition our garden soil with seaweed/kelp or fish bone meal. Although herbs have a high tolerance in fighting off insects, fungus & bacterial plant diseases naturally, we provide neem oil as an additional repellent, as needed. We prioritize all efforts to not use chemical pesticides of any kind, because checmical pesticides have a proven long-term negative effect on health.
